New Project? Who Dis?
As many of you know, I'm doing podcast coaching under the Podcast Mastery brand. It's been quite a ride so far.
Brought to you by our sponsor mTap.io --> Revolutionize How You Run Events And Network.
I've been working hard to get my new brand, Podcast Mastery, out in front of people for the last couple of weeks. On Monday, I finally set up the brand's LinkedIn page. Now, I feel like I need to start pushing even harder.
It's been a while since I've started a new brand. I've had Entrepreneur's Enigma (the podcast) and Marketing Junto (this newsletter) for a few years. So, I have to admit, I'm a little rusty. 😜
That being said, the support I've been getting from clients, prospects, and colleagues has been fantastic.
As fun as it is to create something new, it can be really nerve-racking.
I'm still doing Web Design, SEO, and overall digital marketing. That is what pays the bills.
But with more than 14 years in the podcasting space, I should be sharing and monetizing my knowledge. I didn't want to confuse the parent company, Goldstein Media, with the new shiny object. Hence, the new brand, logo, and LinkedIn/social media assets (where I deem them needed).
Have you started a new brand or sub-brand? How'd it go?

I agree. Substack is trying to keep their users on their platform and because of that they're gonna lost to Ghost. That's my guess.
Great to see Substack get some competition. Let's see if journalists like Taylor Lorenz move to Ghost.
That's impressive.
Wow that was quick. Earlier Friday they said December!
This could be a good thing. Giving creators more control over what ads show up on their channel is HUGE!
An interesting argument.
Wow this used to be big deal. Not anymore!
Very good guide to help you choose between a 301 and a 302 redirect.
This seems to be why Matt is so quite lately. In my opinion, how it should always have been.
Laura Elizabeth makes a great tool for WordPress agencies called Client Portal. Matt Medeiros of The WP Minute+ has a great interview with her.
I was laying on the couch and this popped in to my head. It was worth writing out and expressing.
A federated TikTok!!!! Sign ups are open.
It is possible to make money podcasting, but there are other benefits other than getting paid directly.
The truth is that independent writing and publishing required you to wear many hats. Molly does a good job, but there is peril.
Remember AMP? Yep... well now it's a headache.
Not a good look. It really highlights the importance that places like the Internet Archive play.
I support Jason's move. I've known Jason for ages and he and his business partner/wife, Kim, are making the right move for the future of their fantastic plugin. Allegedly Matt Mullenweg was threatening to take over the Paid Membership Pro plugin like he did with WP Engine's ACF plugin. 😵💫

🎙️New Offering: Podcast Coaching 🎙️
I've been podcasting since 2010. During those 14 years I've learned a thing or two about the ins and outs of the industry and approaching it the right way.
I've recently decided to offer podcast coaching as a service to share the knowledge that I've accumulated over the decade-plus in the industry.
