Last year, 2024, was a strange year. Most of my new business didn't get started until Q2 and even then it was a slog.
This year is looking up, so far. I have two deals ready to launch in January and a few to finish up and move on to the next stages.
I'm not a big believer in New Years Resolutions. I've always found them arduous to keep. But I am looking forward to some New Years goals.
Network more effectively – This means only belong to networking groups that have produced quality leads (closed or not).
Capitalize on the online space – This year I want to make a conscious attempt at mixing online and offline events so that I can meet more people and possibly help/work with more folks.
Grow Podcast Mastery – I started my podcast consultancy (a sub-brand of Goldstein Media) a few months before the end of the year. I'm looking forward to systematizing it and growing it. I really enjoy helping people use podcasts for both enjoyment and for business.
Read more books – This doesn't necessarily mean more business books or more fiction. It means just actually make a conscious effort to sit down and read, to give my eyes a break from all the blue light.
Quell and organize my newsletter subscriptions – I collect newsletter subscriptions like they're going out of style. I need to figure out a good way to consume them without being overwhelmed by them.
